I just can’t with Lenovo anymore. I know they stopped installing Superfish, and a wipe and reinstall would take care of it anyway, but I don’t think I could bring myself to give them money no matter how good the sale is.

To whoever was looking for a laptop, I just bought this:

It’s a lenovo with pretty good specs (i5, 6 GB) and doesn’t have any bloatware. I’ve been on the lookout for a cheap laptop for a while and this is the best deal I’ve seen.

I only vaguely remember hearing about Superfish even after consulting the googles. That is a pretty horseshit piece of software to preload onto a computer. Especially if they had it rigged so that you couldn’t just do a straight uninstall to get rid of it.
